We are an independent mortgage and life insurance company based in Wokingham, Berkshire. We offer expert advice to people in the local area and further afield. We have access to the whole market, and we manage the application process from end-to-end making everything as simple and hassle-free as possible. Unlike many other brokers, we prefer not to charge our customers a fee – we want to keep your costs as low as possible.
Clark and Poole was established 15 years ago, but our advisers have worked in the Wokingham area and mortgage industry for over 30 years, so our team has a fantastic knowledge of the housing market and the purchase process.

Life Insurance and Critical Illness Cover
It’s easy to procrastinate about life insurance because no-one wants to think about death or illness, but our aim is to make sure that if the worst happens your financial situation is secure.
It’s really important to get the right advice; we will explain the pitfalls of buying a ‘one-size-fits-all’ policy from the bank or supermarket, or relying on company benefits. But at the end of the day, it is up to you and there’s no pressure from us, we just want you to have all the facts and to make an informed decision.
